Alot of people think they have to have some ability to join one of our classes. I always tell them it doesn't matter where you start, or how much, or little you know, you will learn, and improve as the weeks go by. As an example, eighteen months ago, I literally took the plunge and started swimming lessons. I couldn't swim, and didn't like putting my face in the water.....but slowly I have become more confident, and I now can swim - if not very well, but I'll keep going! So

Thank you for supporting your local independent shop, cafe and gallery throughout the year. Customers quickly become friends, and we have loved seeing you all over 2025. The Art Cafe will close at 2.30 on Christmas Eve, and reopen on Friday 2nd January. The Art Studio will close at 2.30 on Christmas Eve, and reopen on Tuesday 6th January.

Come and have a look at the wonderful work displayed here at Ten2. Original art by local artists, and all for sale. Pop in when you are next in town, and why not tuck into a turkey sandwich or a mince pie while you are here!

We still have some spaces if you fancy joining us for a special Christmas themed afternoon tea, here at the Art cafe. Price is just £15.00 per person, and we need at least 24 hours notice please.

We are delighted to hold our first makers' market here on F riday 21st November, to coincide with the Christmas Lights Switch on. Do pop up to view the local creatives - ideal for unusual Christmas presents, or just a gift for yourself! Open from 4.00p.m.

Friday 21st November is when Hinckley's lights will be turned on. If you want to escape from the crush at the bottom of town, and not pay for overpriced food from out of town companies, come and join us at The Art Cafe. We will be serving turkey (Frank Parker's) cobs with stuffing and cranberry sauce, a warming glass of mulled wine, scrumptious mince pies with a dollop of cream, rounded off with a hot chocolate (perhaps a shot of Baileys too).
