Let Kate instruct you in the art of botanical painting in watercolours. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

Please bring your own paints, paper and brushes.

Botanical painting is a fine and precise art, which focuses the mind and enhances your observation skills, and many people find it very therapeutic as well as enjoyable.

The Cosmos is a fragile, translucent flower whose petals need a light touch and few layers of paint, so a good result can be achieved in a reasonably short time. Although the leaves require some concentration to draw, they are very fine and, once drawn, are quite straightforward to paint. If you have Cosmos in the garden, please feel free to bring along your own.

Please bring your own paints, paper (hot pressed) and brushes – suggested material list
