It may be still cold outside, but we are planning our Summer Term of art classes already. They will start just after Easter, on April 12th and we will be accepting booking from 1st March.
We have some exciting events planned for the Live Evenings @ the gallery, with Bernard and Jill returning to provide us with tradiotional Irish music to celebrate St Patrick's Day. A three course meal with an Irish theme and tea/coffee on Saturday 20th March, 7.00 - 10.00 Tickets £25.00
Friday 23rd April is St George's Day, and we are celebrating all things English with traditional music from Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham. 7.00 - 10.00p.m. Tickets £22.00
Friday 21st May will see the return of the Swing Museum. If you wish to join us for a three course meal while being entertained by live music, please call or pop in to reserve your ticket. The evening kicks off at 7.00 p.m., and tickets are £22.

SUMMER EXHIBITION 2010
- APPLICATION FORM
The
Ten2Gallery is again offering the exciting opportunity to artists in the area
to submit up to 3 pieces of their work for consideration to be included in the
open "Summer Exhibition" to be held at the Ten2Gallery during June and July
2010. The aim of this is to identify and introduce new artists and their work
to the public and the local artistic community generally. If selected, it also
gives artists the chance to sell their work and to broaden their networking
opportunities. This is open to artists producing 2d work only at present, and
all items must be framed,(not clip frames) or able to be hung (if textile items
etc), or on canvas. Please also bear in mind that this is a selling exhibition,
so subject matter will be taken into consideration when selecting.
All
work must be recent (no earlier than 2006) please.
An
entrance fee of £4.00 per item, or £10.00 for three will be charged for work no
larger than 24" x 36". Work larger than this will be charged £5 per item. (Non
refundable)
The
work for exhibiting will be selected by a panel of representatives from the The
Art Studio, Ten2Gallery, and Art Cafe. Work that is not successful must be
collected during the dates shown below.
The
work must be delivered to The Art Studio between Monday 24th and Saturday 29th May
between the hours of 9.00 and 5.00
p.m. Payment must be made at
the time of delivery. Please ensure work is protected with bubble wrap/card
etc.
All
work should bear the artist's name, address, contact number, medium and selling price.
A
Private View will be held and all work must be for sale. The Ten2Gallery will
charge a 35% commission fee on all items sold during the exhibition.
If

consideration together with the fee(s) due i.e. £4 per item or £10 per 3 items or £5 each for larger work.

Please
note all pieces of work must be able to be hung (i.e with hooks and a string please, not a single hook and no mirror plates).
All stretched canvas must have neat edges, ideally painted. All work must be of
good saleable quality (including frames - poor corners, chipped frames,
scratched, dirty/discoloured mounts etc will be rejected however good the work
is) and be available for sale. Please
ensure that all work is protected upon delivery as no responsibility will be
taken for work that is damaged because of lacking protection. All items will be
insured while on the premises.
